Welcome!
Hi! My name is Mia, I’m a mom of two little ones, and an occupational therapist. My favorite thing to do is support other mothers as we navigate the highs and lows of parenting. Not only are we responsible for our children’s development, we are simultaneously developing as mothers! So, think of me as your online friend where you can learn some OT tips, laugh together over the funniest parts of motherhood, and commiserate over the struggles as well. Thanks for being here! ✨

Get to Know Me 💜
I’m a California girl, from NorCal to SoCal! I was raised in the Bay Area, came down to San Diego for college, and decided to stay (how could you ever leave?!). After graduating from the University of San Diego, I received my Master’s in Occupational Therapy from USC (fight on ✌🏼). My most favorite fieldwork I did was training in the NICU, and I knew since then that my career goal was to be a NICU therapist.
As a new grad OT (and freshly married), I started my career in pediatrics here in San Diego, where I saw kids ages infant through young adult in a combination of Early Intervention, school-based, outpatient clinic, and telehealth (thanks to the pandemic). After having my son in 2021, I made the switch to inpatient acute care, where I spent 2 years working with adults + geriatrics. During this time, I pursued my passion for helping other mothers by establishing an OT for Postpartum program at my hospital! Soon after, I had my daughter, and switched paths to a different inpatient hospital working with adults. Recently, I’ve had the incredibly exciting opportunity to train in the NICU! I’m using my professional + personal experience as a mom to learn, grow, and provide the most informed yet compassionate care to newborns and their parents/ caregivers.
